I was just getting to 'know' phpbb modifications, and then the switch to extensions
So now with these problems I'm getting to know more about events and stuff..

Installed the extension QuickReply Reloaded

OK back to this... I installed that extension and you need another template in the event/ folder for it.

smiliesigns/styles/all/template/event/ext_quickreply_editor_buttons_after.html

Can you create that template and copy it to your server? Or you can download this extension on the first post and update your copy.

Sniper_E I downloaded the extension from the first post. Now it works only in chat. In quick reply and full reply, it is not

Sorry, In that final copy... I put the smilie sign selection back in the section where the other button are, where it should go.

EDIT: I replace the download in the first post with these locations added. It should work fine with quick reply also.

@ Solidjeuh, you don't really need to update.
That new download is what you have. I only added the ext_quickreply_smiley_box_append.html for the quick reply.

If you had the quick reply extension installed you could copy your posting_editor_smilies_after.html and rename it to that.

It is working fine in quick reply on a fresh install.

@ vla20071, did you clear the cache in your ACP after installing that?
Or is there another extension you have that pertains to bbCodes that may be clashing with this?

@ dmzx, how did you get yours working beside the buttons in posting?

There is 2 ways to make it line up with the other buttons create your own events or take the code from the smilie ext and paste it in the buttons ext

and option number 3 rewrite both exts

And don't forget about option number 4...
Disable that posting buttons extension, delete the data, delete the files off of your server and delete it off your hard drive.

When testing quick reply out I found that posting buttons also disables the bbCode buttons on it's extension.
But of course quick reply replaces the entire viewtopic page the same way posting buttons replaces the buttons.

You just have to work around these extensions if you want them.
