No other extensions active, it just don't works.
Doesn't show anything.
Already set permission for registered users group, tried various titles in profile, not showing up anywhere, not even on prosilver.

no it does not show up when using default colour

it does show when you have designated a member group colour though

What I mean is:

Yes the group must have default a different colour to show title.

I had to change the color ouf users groupe too to make the title show.
I chose #6C6482, because it fit with dark AND light styles.
