No, because by activating the debug, I get the following error :

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/ext/dmzx/topicindex/core/functions_topicindex.php on line 301: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/ext/dmzx/topicindex/core/functions_topicindex.php on line 302: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool

I have no problems. Installed and working (just tested again). I think you have problems with plugins that don't fit together.

The extension works but when you activate the debug:

we get this:

If you do not activate the debug you do not get the display of this error.

Works fine on lots of boards even mine with debug enabled just because the debug error message is saying its this ext it does not mean it is it could be one of many other exts conflicting with it.

Code: Select all

phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file [ROOT]/ext/dmzx/topicindex/core/functions_topicindex.php on line 301: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file [ROOT]/ext/dmzx/topicindex/core/functions_topicindex.php on line 302: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool

This extension has always worked fine, I have always debug enabled for years, this error is getting it after upgrading to 3.3.7

You write the same thing twice. Deactivate the debug and you will not see it again. This error does not cause any problem.

It is clear that with solutions like that, we are no longer bothered...
It's a bit like removing a bulb from the dashboard of a car to avoid seeing the light come on...

If I had read one post higher than what martin wrote then I would not have written this.

Exactly, but not everyone seems to think so!

Subject: Improvement Proposal for the Topic Index Extension - Added Forum Display in Topic List

Hello,
First of all, I want to thank dmzx for the fantastic Topic Index extension, which has proven extremely useful in organizing and enhancing my forum.

I wanted to contribute by sharing a modification I've made to the extension:

What I Added:
I introduced the ability to display the forum name for each thread listed in the Topic Index. This feature improves clarity and allows users to quickly identify the forum of origin for each listed topic.

How It Works:
  • In the topic index displayed to users, a new column labeled "Forum" shows the name of the forum to which each topic belongs.
  • The modification includes CSS adjustments to maintain the table's layout and style, ensuring a seamless integration with the extension's design.
Additional Notes:
While working on this, I explored the idea of adding links to the lists in the ACP panel for easier navigation, but I decided to put this on hold for now. The current version focuses exclusively on the user-facing interface improvements.

I've uploaded the modified version of the extension to my GitHub account for anyone interested. Here is the link: GitHub Repository

I hope these changes can benefit other users. If you find the modifications useful or have any suggestions, feel free to share your feedback.

Thanks again for your great work, dmzx!

Kind regards,
JackSparrow

Oggetto: Proposta di Miglioramento per l'Estensione Topic Index - Aggiunto il Nome del Forum nella Lista Argomenti

Ciao a tutti,

Come Funziona:
Note Aggiuntive:

Cordiali saluti,
JackSparrow
