Does this extension only work with files on ftp? and a link to another site can’t insert a file?

You can ftp the file and link to the name or upload the zip from the acp.

No if you want the link from an external site it was not made for that as any one could link to a zip from another site when they should not be.

I create a whole new forum and use your extensions gratefully.
But I wonder if I can also offer ISO files to my members.
These iso files are about 3 to 4 GB.
Can you tell me how to do this if possible.

you can allow iso files to attach to ur topic from ACP--->extensions

Ok I'm probably not going to be able to use the extension if I want to make 4 Gig available.
I have Versio as host provider and they only allow 1 Gig in php settings.

Ask your host to adjust the setting, maybe they will..

Check you database dm_eds table.
Check download_desc and if there are descriptions starting without < add them to the fields like:
<t>Latest version</t>

so starting with a <t> some text </t>

I did this and still getting error...

I figured it out... I had to add the <t>Latest version</t> to category descriptions also.,.


I did notice that the upload link is missing now. Any ideas?

Hello,
first, congratulations on this extension. Im experiencing a problem with uploading files. If I do it through ACp, after the upload is finished, a red window appears saying "You have to enter a file, which belongs to your upload!".
If I upload via the user upload option, after uploading the window simply returns and the file is not there either.
The size of this file is 60Mb and the upload time is 58 seconds.
My phpBB is 3.31, the extension is 1.15 and my php.ini has a time of 2 minutes and a limit of 100Mb
I appreciate the help
