Hi, just wanted to notify that the "Pay points to create new topic" functionality doesn't work for phpBB 3.3.0 .
Running php@7.2.24, tomorrow morning i'll have a look at the code and see if i can figure it out, but it might be something you're already working on so might as well ask first

For any future person who's stumbling across this issue, the extension actually works pretty well, but being >2am yesterday night i just got frustrated in the deep hole of admin settings and thought it had a bug.
Went through the code today (nicely commented btw, easy to move around) and figured out that you need to set a forum based group permission to allow users to actually spend points to create new threads/reply to threads.

I was wondering if you had in your plans to allow users to purchase groups, for instance create an open group from the admin and a user would be able to spend Points to purchase it.. Or even allow users to create a custom group for a certain amount of points (which will have pre-defined Registered group permissions to begin with)

I have seen the ultimate point with autogroup extension and it just automatically adds users to a group if they reach a certain amount of points, which is not exactly what i'm looking for.
If you are not and you don't mind i might just try and create an extension that requires yours, however i'm not nearly as prepared with phpBB so it might take a while >.>

Please how can I separate comments point from posting point

For example

1. If some comments on a post a he/she will have 50 points

2. If some makes a post only he/she will end up with 70 points

How can I make this happen

On ACP, go to forums. There you can set number if points for each one when someone post a replay, creyese new topic, download an attachmen, etc.

The bank interests work start from 1point or 100 points?

I've setted the bank interests at 0.04% with minimum deposit 100 points but the interests are not generated.

There is a setup for editing topics giving users points. If just anyone edit posts getting points for ? This is one thing I dont fully undestand:

posting new topic / replys give you points and on the same matter you must pay for new topics / replys. Sure I can edit forums each of my own, some forums giving points and some others taking only. Thats might the idea behind this.

But if so, why not for Editing topics / posts aswell ?

I wanted that edits are paid but there is no option to make it pay for so I setup to receive -1 Points for edit. But this seems not working with negative points ?? Is this right ?


Daily Login Rewards, Pay for PMs and pay on special periods of time for a special membership group would be nice.

I really loved this extension but unfortunatly I had to disable it because after long search I found a problem with RIN Editor. If I decided to apply rules to BBCode who can use those or not, the editor told me I am not allowed to use this BBCode even if I got Admin permssion set for me. It only worked if I allowed anyone to use.

After disable the points exetnsion the permission right problem is now totally gone. Dont know what changed inside the perrmisisons system but there was maybe some conflicts. Also on Portal Page I was not able to make only block seen by guests, there maybe the problem was there.

i have installed ultimate points days ago, no problem at all

i only enabled the point system, after some testing, i wanna test the Bank system, and got some debug error:

- when going UCP
- Ultimate points
- Click on Bank
