If there are no notifications about comments, can you somehow put out a link in the statistics for all comments? The statistics block in the video gallery down below.

To immediately see all the comments on the link.

You could do something like this, which is more uniform however, i cant even pull the the title like your doing so.. but, if i were the title would be above my name..

You can have the title show above the video image by adding a line in the video_index.html template.

^ have you purged the cache after changing codes in the files ?

to the coders : for last n videos on index (file: video_index.html)

using id for repeating elements is considered as incorrect ;)

accordingly style element also need to be changed in video.css file

This is just the index template and the css. Copy content to ext/ directory and over write the existing files. Clear cache.

Some mobiles hold the old cache so your issue may be with that.
