I've done some testing of this extension and have the lightbox extension active. They work well together and the lightbox gives you the thumbnail type image you're looking for. Just a thought.

I have both theses extension in also, but I have a size limit of 800x800 and so I have users complaining that they can't post the BBCcode cause of those restrictive.

How do you have you're size settings

Maximum image dimensions: 1024 x 1024 px (images as attachments)

Is there a way to put something on this extension, so that they do or don't hotlink you images on other sites? maybe a .htaccess file or something?

You should be able to do this within your hosting account.

Another great update DM. I did notice a minor typo under the "your uploaded images" tab.

Here your find your uploaded images click image to preview, just drag and drop into the posting area.

Perhaps a re-write to: These are your uploaded images. Click any image to preview. To add an image in a post, just drag and drop into posting area.

After backup version 1.02 , uninstall old version and install new v1.04 this errors appear on index pages.

all data uploaded with filezilla

Unistall mobiledevice ext and see if the errors go away after a cache purge.

Mobiledevice disable and uninstall
cache purge
Imageupload 1.04 reinstall and enable
with Huawei P9 in Chrome,Opera, Mozilla I will be logged off after i click in " Image upload'"

The same problem with a normal User Account

permission for all " yes "

Now i uninstall Imageupload.
i test an other ext ==> phpbb Gallery 1.20
