I hope you don't mind but I slightly modified it for myself by removing the "Group: ", but this is just what I wanted, thank you!

I would love to be able to select which groups show up and which groups don't. Probably easiest (as an admin, no idea what's easiest for a coder) to have it as a group permission setting.

This extension is so close to solving a problem I'm having, but it really would need to show only the groups I want to show in order to be what I'm looking for!

So global select the groups that you want to show or for each member separate?

Not for each member separate, no.

Actually looking again, I said it wrong in my previous post. I don't want it in permissions; here's what I want to be able to do:

I want to be able to go to Users & Groups -> Manage Groups, then go into the settings for each group and have a checkbox 'Show group in viewtopic'. Checking the box makes the extension show the group in viewtopic, while leaving it unchecked makes it not show up. Currently if I'm not mistaken it just shows all groups a user is a member of.
