That worked perfect. Thanks!

First post updated - Smilie Signs 1.0.4.
I now have the smilie signs selection box located with the other bbCode buttons where they should be.

This guy posted a script to preview the signs before you posted them here: phpBB • [RC] Smilie Signs - Page 2
That script did not work well for me when I tried it.

martin, where is that snippit you had for post preview? I would like to try and improve the script that guy wrote.
It doesn't need the post inline part. I fixed that here: Smilie Signs Extension - Sniper_E Styles

Hey Sniper. working with v1.0.5 that you shared with me. loaded fine on my live board (3.1.7) Did you add the smilie images in the selection box in that version? IF so they aren't showing. The board is: here. the Z files forum allows guest posting so you can see it there.

Yea the background images have never shown in IE or in Chrome inside the drop down. Firefox shows them well.
I've tried before to get them to show in those browsers but failed. I would like to know the deal on that problem.

First post updated to 1.0.5 (needs some work on those images)

I know chrome and IE can be a pain in the ass about things. Hopefully one day you'll figure it out. Still loving the extension.

Looks interesting :)
But I got this error when installing the ext v1.0.5

The attempt to copy the file “PHPBB_ROOT/ext/boardtools/upload/tmp/55” to the location “PHPBB_ROOT/ext/boardtools/upload/tmp/55/sniper/smiliesigns” failed.

Followed the manual instructions and it does not appear in ACP/Customize/Disabled

Ah, had to remove the version number from the Folder.

From this: smiliesigns1.0.5 to this: smiliesigns

Because of validation issues I thought of getting rid of the wood sign and make the signs style dependent.

See if you think this new layout looks ok in the two styles I have installed. Check it out.

Interesting approach. I think it would work nice for our Aero style. Keep up the good work. :D
