Hi
Image upload is not the same as file upload
With Image Upload you can upload pictures to gif, jpg, png and jpeg. With minor changes to an image upload file, you can then additionally upload other endings such as .zip and .rar.

:wall: File upload 1.0.1 is copy of the first version of the image upload ext version 1.0.1i should know i converted it.

PLS no more posts about them being different i'm going to say it one more time

The image upload was made i cloned it into a file upload so both the same versions then the image upload ext got updated a few times and is now version1.0.4 and the file upload needs to be updated to match the image upload version as it is behind.

The problem is not with the latest update as it works perfect on prosilver your problem is with the theme your using you have errors with the ajax and js of the theme i'm afraid no one is going to make a special image upload ext just to suit a non standard theme.

I do know that from your free host I can see the problem when I look into the themes files even with no ext's turned on the theme is a mess and will always have m&s errors (you don't need ftp to see files) the ext works perfect on profiler as it was made for prosilver.

You remove the uploads in the acp under the image settings for the ext you must remove from there or you will make errors.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post! Maybe your post count is too low.

How might I be able to disable the Image Upload button on the Post editor? I think that could be confusing for members...thinking they're uploading to the editor. ;)

Re: Image Upload

Getting there.. images are now uploading to and loading from: /phpbb/images/imageupload/
(obviously created /imageupload/ manually and confirmed permissions 755, uploaded files are still 644)
(and too many ext core edits to list.. this would NOT be for the novice php'er.. but I can share later if ok with the D'master)

But getting image details, like file sizes and dimensions will be a new challenge, I think we're going to need cUrl for fetch outside of ext_path... not sure yet, haven't thought of any other ideas yet.

Any ideas to help me finish this?

EDIT: Nevermind it.. I'm afraid of leaving a hole in an already secure folder. I don't need to see the image px, or size.. and screw anyone who doesn't already know what your uploading!

Works like a charm, the way I wanted: https://forums.thetopfew.com/images/upl ... b630f2.gif

Feedback: Oh and, I think you should take that 100% 100% out of css on your install pack, small images like this one above.. look like shit and are about as big as your screen goes.. other than, great ext! Postimage pissed me off, when they added the stupid url to the script.. now I'm satisfied.
