May be take a look at the pm ext where it auto grabs users names as you type

Does this extension work the same as @Mention , does it notify you , when the bbcode for your name is written ?

I would like to up vote this request.

It would be a MUCH WELCOMED feature if a notification is created.

The @Mention System has been abandoned and greatly missed on my board. Code is up on GitHub if anyone wants to take a wack at forking and updating it for 3.2 compatibility. Just saying...

It no longer works on 3.3.7. Is displayed - [username|#AA0000|bold|2]max[/username] - only if you change manually before the color code = instead of |.
