Polish translation v 1.0.4
pl.zip
------------------------------------------------------------------
Btw,
'MOBILE_CLEAR_LOGS' => 'Clear logs', appears twice:
language/en/common.php - lines 50 and 59
language/pl/common.php - lines 51 and 60 (second line commented out by me, correct please if I'm wrong)

I just installed 1.04 and weirdly cannot seem to set permissions for it?
Set the permissions for your other groups and users in the ACP / Permissions
I assume this is the step I'm missing, but cannot find them anywhere? Yes it's on, and yes I cleared cache. :oops:

No in the acp you can enable welcome message for users and enable welcome message for guests along with allow mobile header image.

That's about it. A registered user can go into their user control panel and disable the welcome message if they don't want to see it.

What kind of permissions do you think needs to be set? We did not see that was needed.

Thank you all4phone, I'll look into that language file edits.

Oh ok, I got that from your post a few pages back, so I guess that explains why no permissions. Could you point me to where in the UCP those settings are, as I cannot find them either.

So far I cannot find any evidence of the mod besides the admin settings page.

  1. Disable the extension.
  2. Deleta data from the extension.
  3. Delete the files from your server.
  4. Copy the new version files to your server.
  5. Enable the extension.
  6. Choose your settings for the extension in the ACP / Extensions / Mobile Device
  7. Set the permissions for your other groups and users in the ACP / Permissions

Sweet, it started working!

http://www.junglewraiths.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4757

I'm trying to add my phone, but obviously made a mistake somewheres and the entire site became a white page. :wtf:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows Phone 10.0; Android 6.0.1; NOKIA; Lumia 830) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.79 Mobile Safari/537.36 Edg

and this is our 640xl

Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; Windows Phone 8.1; Android 4.0; ARM; Trident/7.0; Touch; rv:11.0; IEMobile/11.0; Microsoft; Lumia 640 XL LTE) like iPhone OS 7_0

I think the bit I'm struggling with is adding "Windows Phone 10.0" and "Windows Phone 8.1" or do I not need those?

Getting closer, but the browser type is a bit weird. The 830 has none, and the 640 is being identified as Iphone even though this code is at the very top.

Code: Select all

case (preg_match('/(iris|3g_t|windows ce|windows Phone|windows Phone 10.0|windows Phone 8.1|opera mobi|windows ce; smartphone;|windows ce; iemobile)/i',$user_agent));
				if (preg_match('/Lumia 830/i',$user_agent))
			{
				$status = 'Lumia 830';
				$mobile_browser = $windows;
				}
				elseif (preg_match('/Lumia 640 XL LTE/i',$user_agent))
				{
					$status = 'Lumia 640XL';
					$mobile_browser = $windows;
				}
				else
				{
					$status = 'Windows Phone';
				}
				$mobile_browser = $windows;
			break;
Weirdly if I do not identify them the windows smartphone browser icon is fine.

How does one get permission to view mobile logs? I finally found the link after removing the requirement to see it, but now do not have permission to view?

That permission is set on install with the migrations/mobiledevice_data.php

Code: Select all

		 // Add permissions
		 array('permission.add', array('u_mobile_logs_view')),
		 array('permission.add', array('u_mobile_logs_clear')),
		 // Set permissions
		 array('permission.permission_set', array('ADMINISTRATORS', 'u_mobile_logs_view', 'group')),
		 array('permission.permission_set', array('ADMINISTRATORS', 'u_mobile_logs_clear', 'group')),
Only Admins can clear the mobile logs and view the logs. I don't think we made a switch for that.

Yep spoton, only Admins see it.

Would it be difficult to add another browser type? A lot of our users have tapatalk.

Mozilla/5.0 Firefox/3.5.6 Tapatalk/1549

also if anyone want s a windows 10 icon here you go.

Is taptalk off the net? What would you call that? windows? android? Pick one of the mobile_device_detect listed.

Code: Select all

			case (preg_match('/taptalk/i',$user_agent));
				$status = 'Taptalk';
				$mobile_browser = $windows;
			break;
Then add a Taptalk.png image to the images/ directory. (32px height) Image

Tapatalk is an app that works on any device.

https://www.tapatalk.com/

Hence why it would need to be added as another browser type, not a device.

Update: wait, I'm a idiot, if I put that first then it will tell they are using tapatalk, not their device I reckon, will give it a try. :D

Mmm, but then all tapatalk users become windows browser? Maybe I could add it before each type? say before android starts, etc etc?

I thought so. I know what Taptalk is. Use that code, grab that image and test it out.
