Hi,
would it be possible to coded this to mChat, or to make development it directly extension?
To show a national flag for each user according to the current IP address.
Options could be the location on the left next to the user's name or right next to the mChat icons.
In attachment I present the picture as example from another website.

As long as you have a national flag extension installed I would think a simple template edit would do that.
What national flag extension are you using?

You do know Dm does not maintain mChat.

Hi, this image is not an extension for phpbb, it comes from the website...https://www.cbox.ws/ and have this function integrated in their chat.

I tried the phpbb extension...https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... nal_flags/,
but this extension doesn't work to display in mChat, and then it more or less only works by the user selecting the flag of the country they are in from their control panel in the settings. However, it does not correlate with the actual IP address from which the user accesses the website.

I also tried to write and ask on the website...https://kasimi.net/index.php,
but I read somewhere in another post in the forum that kasimi is no longer active and the development of mChat and its add-ons is no longer running continued.

I have seen some scripts on github, some purely as php files with JS and CSS support, some have been created as plugins and modules for various CMS like myBB, WP or Joomla. I tried testing a few things on jsfidle and codepen, but nothing worked.
