Donation Extension with auto groups 1.0.4 is out!

Means there is a private and better one released in the donators section.

Are there guidelines/suggestions on a donation amount to get access to this. I think it would be a good addition to my board. Hell, if it motivates people to actually donate...it'll pay for itself. :)

How long do you want to be a donor for ? see here donation all ext's and snippets in donor section are not to be given away for free Hows that for a guide line

Some members on this board also belong to a lot of boards using different names just waiting for a payed ext to pop up for free

I just installed it but it didn't work for me. I get "You are not authorized to access this area."

I put my account into Administrators.
I removed my account from other groups.
I made Administrators my default group.
Changed Administrators group rank to Site Admin
I logged out and back in.

Thanks for the link. Even though it didn't work on the first shot for me, with this kind of fast response - it seems two year donation is in order.
Same results.

Well, I'm happy to report that after spending €20 (~$22) donating to you guys, within on day I received $75 in donations and two requests to mail in unknown donations amounts.

Proof of concept accomplished!

FEATURE REQUEST REGARDING DONATION GOAL: It would be nice to have a time limit on the goal, a countdown to it, and then reset the goal again. This would allow for reoccurring monthly or yearly goals. Right now I just describe it in the Donation main page but a looping monthly, yearly, or set goal would be a useful feature.

WHAT I DO NOW is just say this is the hosting cost for the board from inception till the end of 2017. That way I can be lazy and just update the goal once a year.

FEATURE REQUEST #2: A simple "Mail in Donation" option which would then display a message with an address where members could mail a check. (I had two requests by members today.)

UPDATE:
RE: SETTING UP IPN

Current instructions are no longer valid:
"PayPal IPN instructions
To enable the PayPal IPN, login to your PayPal account and navigate to "History" > "IPN History".
On this page click the "turn on IPN" link to go to the IPN settings page.
Once you are on the IPN settings page, select "Receive IPN messages (Enabled)" and add the PayPal IPN URL in the "Notification URL" input field.
Click "Save" and you are done."

Current method:
Logon to PayPal
Locate "Selling Tools" and click the "Seller preferences" link
Locate the "Getting paid" section, subsection "Instant payment notifications," then click "Update"
Read the info and click "Choose IPN Settings"
Enter URL and click "Save"
