It needs to make also then the category in the extension to show, like you do normal when you add it manual in ACP.

If I first make every cat then that is solved right??

When you add the download in ACP it will also add it in the db tables, that will show the link in de download extension.
So adding a file in a category will not display, you need to alter the db also.

When I tried to new download it's show this error "The file does not exists in the named category. Since you selected the FTP upload method, this file needs to be uploaded via FTP in the correct directory BEFORE you can add it!". How can I fix it sir? thanks

Did you do this:

You can add a new upload via FTP or directly. If you are going to use the FTP upload method, the file needs to be uploaded to the correct category before you enter it here! You only can use on or the other method at a time!

I never use ftp why not just upload like this so much faster.

How did you solve it what method did you go with ftp or direct upload others might have run into the same problem as you and this could be the answer there also looking for.

I'd assume "download-system" will pick up the allowed extensions from the boards' list of "Manage attachment extensions". There I've "cob" extension allowed for documents and the regular posts accept this extension however, "download system" did not accept it today? Can you please suggest on this?
