Extensions position

Post by Pingui »

Your phpBB Version: phpBB 3.3
Your phpBB Type: Standard phpBB
Extensions installed: Yes
Your knowledge: Beginner

What have you done before the problem was there?

What have you already tried to solve the problem?

Description and Message
Hi friends...

The first thing I want to ask you is...
How can I change the position of a forum extension if it does not have the option to change position (up / down) in the configuration of that extension? For example PayPal Donation Extension, I have it installed but it is at the bottom and is not at the top as I would like.

My other question is...
How can I apply the Collapsible Forum Categories option in other parts of the forum apart from the categories I have?
Tell you that with phpBB 3.2.8 I didn't have any problem, but now with phpBB 3.3 it doesn't do it with all the parts.

And finally...
Is it possible to change the horizontal position of two extensions? For example on my website it looks like this -> [Search] - [Clock], and I would like to put them another way, [Clock] - [Search]
If so, how can I do it?

I hope your wise and good help.

Thank you very much...
Be yourself, except if you're stupid, then it is better that you be another one.

The problem I had with the Collapsible Forum Categories extension has already been solved. I still have the other two.

Thank you.

Go into ACP and select the System tag and click Administrator Control Panel link.
To the right click on Extensions... In there you can move the extension orders.
This will effect which extension you see on top in the ACP Extensions tab.

The first link that shows up on the right is the first codes with class .rightside in it.
If clock is an extension then it is being placed in the template before the search.
You will have to place it in after the search codes.
If the clock extension uses the EVENT TEMPLATE overall_header_searchbox_before.html
Then just rename that to overall_header_searchbox_after.html and your clock will show to the left of the search.
