Post by dmzx »

All credits to martin

Here is how i have done the santa hat plus the falling snow.
Open style/prosilver/template/ html files (also ext html files) and
Find This may be a partial find and not the whole line (spaces may differ)

Code: Select all

<div class="forabg">
Add before Add these lines on a new blank line before the preceding line(s) to find

Code: Select all

<!-- IF SWITCHES_ENABLE_FIRST -->
<div style="position: absolute; margin: -5px 0 0 -18px;">
        <img src="{ROOT_PATH}images/cornerhat.png" alt="Santa hat" />
    </div>
<!-- ENDIF -->
For the logo bar i use a bigger image
Open overall_header.html
Find This may be a partial find and not the whole line (spaces may differ)

Code: Select all

<div id="page-header">
Add after Add these lines on a new blank line after the preceding line(s) to find

Code: Select all

<!-- IF SWITCHES_ENABLE_FIRST -->
<div style="position: absolute; margin: -12px 0 0 -48px ">
    <img src="{ROOT_PATH}images/cornerhatbig.png" alt="Santa hat" />
</div>
<!-- ENDIF -->
play with the numbers to fit the hat on your theme -5px 0 0 -18px

For snow
Open prosilver/template/overall_footer.html
Find This may be a partial find and not the whole line (spaces may differ)

Code: Select all

</body>
Add before Add these lines on a new blank line before the preceding line(s) to find

Code: Select all

<!-- IF SWITCHES_ENABLE_SECOND -->
<!-- INCLUDE snow.js -->
<!-- ENDIF -->
EXTRACT THE ZIP AND UPLOAD
root(13).zip

I seem a bit confused here...

In the instructions it states to open Open style/prosilver/template/ html files (also ext html files).

What specific HTML file(s) are we referring to? Or is this in ALL the files?

Also when I attempted to DL the ROOT extension it failed on the upload noting the composer.json wasn’t found in the uploaded zip file. :question:

Choose only the html files you want the hats to show on.
As for composer.json, I don't know :(

I figured it out a few hours after posting this... Sorry, I should have returned and noted resolved. My oversight due to being busy doing multiple things at once.
