New option in UCP Referrals invite your friends to join the site

I wonder is already available in referral system extension. How about referral in registration form which has box and when someone register it enter the username of a person who referred from you and this will added to your referral points in profile?.

Did this ever get made? This would be useful for my site.

The solution for this is to just add a custom profile field in UCP and make it a required field.

Why can not it be an invite system?
with invitations numbers
forum only accept registration by invitations and etc.
