You can add registered group in this line:
countdown/overall_header_page_body_before.html at master · dmzx/countdown · GitHub

That is what I am seeing, but wanting to verify...
I am being so sleep deprived that I am running on Caffeine, Nicotine, Sugar, and Adrenaline....
So I am missing the world as I fly by.

I have stokers xmas countdown installed but no text appears on the index page, just theinputted area shows.
So I disabled it and added just dmzx phpbb countdown, and it does the same thing.
What am I missing ?

Also it fecks up mchat, it always goes to the top of all the messages. And can't post in mchat either.

Nope no luck, I removed the phpbb countdown also.
Feel free to fix it if you find time :)

It works fine on my test site tho :)
